This is by far the best QD (Quick Detach) sling swivel. You can use these with camera and lens plates from many different companies like Really Right Stuff, Kirk Photo, Smallrig, Leo Photo and many more. Yes these are a little expensive, but don't trust your expensive camera gear to those ultra cheap QD swivels, THEY WILL FAIL and drop your expensive gear.
These are forged aluminum, and are bullet proof.
The ALG Forged QD Sling Swivel is a lightweight but heavy-duty sling swivel option. The standard QD configuration makes it compatible with any device that accepts QD accessories. The FSS weighs in at roughly 0.5 ounces and is about half the weight of similar steel QD sling swivel assemblies. The FSS is forged from 7075 T6 aluminum, which is the same aluminum and manufacturing process used to make mil-spec upper and lower receivers. This process allows the FSS to be very strong and can withstand pull forces of up to 800lbs.
